Summer 2006 Concerts and Signups
Following are the dates GBCC will work the concessions at Verizon Amphitheatre. Email Teresa Kraft to sign up.
Here are a few general house keeping items for all of my concert workers:
· Please enter the Amphitheater through the back gate.
· Parking is allowed in the gravel parking lot directly outside of the back gate.
· Be punctual! If you anticipate running behind please call someone else volunteering for the concert, so that they can let Verizon people know (print out a roster and keep it in your car). If you are really late Verizon might not allow you in the gate.
· Please wear tennis shoes of some sort (no open heels or toes) Verizon has requested that everyone must wear socks. Khaki shorts or pants. The crew team own hats that must be worn at all times (health violation if not worn) I will deliver them to someone volunteering. Please do not return the hats to Verizon. Lastly, Verizon will issue a polo shirt to put on; they have asked that everyone change in the bathroom not in the kitchen area.
· Before every concert Verizon employees will have a meeting with all concert volunteers concerning certain items, please be attentive and smile. We are representing Great Bridge Crew Club. (Keep in mind that the club is ALL THAT AND A BAG OF CHIPS!!!!!!!!!!)
· Everyone working please keep close track of all items sold, be aware of the credit bin (that will be explained in the meeting before the concert). We need to run a tight ship, because the club will be charged for missing items.
· Finally, have fun and get to know each other!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I know the prospect of having to work as fast food workers is not that appealing, but if you close your eyes and remember the fast, new Vespoli that YOUR rower is able to row in, because of all of the concerts that the club participates in, I think you will find it is all worth it.
